What Lisper does with your voice
Lisper turns speech into text entirely on your device. The Whisper speech-recognition model ships inside the app, and transcription runs locally on your Mac or iPhone. Audio is processed in temporary files that are deleted after transcription. Nothing is uploaded, streamed, or shared — the app has no transcription server to send anything to.
Data we collect
None. Lisper contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and makes no network requests to us or to third parties during normal use. We cannot see your recordings, your transcripts, how often you use the app, or whether you use it at all.
What stays on your device
- Transcripts you choose to keep are saved in a local timeline on your device only.
- Settings, dictation modes, and trial usage are stored locally.
- There is no Lisper account to create and nothing to sign in to.
Deleting the app deletes all of the above.
Permissions
Lisper asks for microphone access, used only while a dictation you started is active. The iPhone keyboard extension inserts your latest transcript from the pasteboard; it makes no network requests and does not log what you type.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment and verifies your entitlement; we receive no personal payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
Changes and contact
If a future version of Lisper ever changes these practices, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated first. Questions: hello@subless.dev.
