Legal bench / Browser storage

Cookie policy.

Current version

Current site status

No analytics. No ad trackers. No optional cookies.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how the Subless website uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels, and software development kits. It applies to subless.dev and pages we operate under that domain.

A cookie is a small text file a website asks a browser to store. Similar technologies can remember information or read information already stored on a device without using a traditional cookie file.

What we use today

At the date shown above, Subless does not intentionally set first-party cookies or use browser storage for analytics, advertising, profiling, or personalisation. The preview site does not include an analytics platform, advertising pixel, or cookie-based newsletter form.

CategoryCurrent useConsent status
Strictly necessaryNone intentionally set by the current preview.Would not require consent when genuinely necessary for a service you request.
PreferencesNone.Would be assessed before use.
AnalyticsNone.Would require prior consent.
Advertising or profilingNone.Would require prior consent.

Because the current site does not use optional cookies, it does not display a consent banner. A banner that offers no real choice would add noise without improving privacy.

Network requests that are not cookies

The site currently loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When the browser requests those files, Google can receive ordinary connection information such as the IP address, browser details, and request time. Subless does not use that request to track visitors across the site.

Our hosting provider may also create security and access logs needed to deliver and protect the site. Server logs are not cookies, although they can contain personal data. A separate privacy notice will describe personal-data handling before accounts, checkout, or mailing-list collection goes live.

Checkout and future tools

When sales begin, a payment or checkout provider may need strictly necessary cookies for fraud prevention, payment security, cart state, or delivery of a download you request. Before enabling that provider, we will update this page with the provider, purpose, duration, and applicable cookie names.

We will not classify analytics, experimentation, advertising, or cross-site profiling as “necessary” merely because it is commercially useful.

If optional cookies are added

Before any optional cookie or similar technology is activated, Subless will:

  • explain its purpose, provider, and duration in clear language;
  • keep it blocked until the visitor makes an affirmative choice;
  • offer a reject option that is as easy to use as the accept option;
  • avoid making core access conditional on consent that is not necessary; and
  • provide a simple way to change or withdraw the choice later.

Your browser controls

Most browsers let you inspect, delete, or block stored cookies. Blocking strictly necessary storage can prevent checkout, account security, or download delivery from working. Browser settings supplement—but do not replace—our obligation to request consent where the law requires it.

Changes and contact

We will update the date and the table above before materially changing our use of cookies or similar technologies. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@subless.dev.
